                        The Senior Citizens College extended admission to the elderly in the neighborhood.

                        With funding support from the Apple Daily Charities Trust, we initiated a U3A project with 2 other agencies in Kwun Tong and established the Yau Tong U3A. |

                        With recommendation of the Social Welfare Department to Housing Department, a unit of 3,000 sq ft (269 sq m) located at Level 3, Carpark, Ko Cheung Court was leased to the agency for setting up of an elder learning centre. |

                        Funding grant obtained from the Digital Solidarity Fund for purchase of computing equipments for the computer room  |

                        Renovation works of the Centre began.
DR. Walton Li, Mr. Wyman Li and Mrs. Maxine Li Kwok MBE, JP generously donated HK$1.5 million to support the operation of the Centre.
The Center was named after the late Dr. Ellen Li as “The Hong Kong Chinese Women’s Club Dr. Ellen Li Learning Centre”
